'Autobiography'
from Dave Mirra
Yes i am being a hypocrit
by even discussing this mass media production here. But the fact remains that
i also have to go against what i have often been told 'if you have nothing good
to say then say nothing at all' , i can't hold this back.
- A joke on all those who actually bought/buy it. Can i bring myself to worthy this self-suggested contribution on the bmx community, sorry 'Dave' but no. It was during the eighties that i last saw such bmx related drivel published. At first i thought it must be a publishers 'watered-down' version but it really appears (please correct me if i'm wrong) that he really did spout the text contained within these pages. I don't want to play devils advocate but Matt at least had something real to say in between his media moments. I'm looking for something positive to say, i guess the pictures are not so bad but then it looks more like a Losey portfolio than an autobiography.....maybe that was the hidden agenda but going on the text i think that those behind it would probably need to look that word up.

- Price : c'mon after that no one is really interested are they? This book has "what else can we sell to people written all over it"
If you want something worth reading and keeping afterwards, then i'd get yourself a copy of the original version from Matt Hoffman and Lew, entitled the Ride of My Life. www.hoffmanbikes.com
